Memory Care at Park View

Our assisted living memory care area is an entrance-controlled, welcoming environment specifically designed for people with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of memory loss. Spaces are designed for familiarity and simplicity to promote well-being. Private, comfortable suites can be personalized with items from home.

Our specially-trained memory care staff work to learns each person’s life story and help them celebrate that story. Staff engage residents through individualized, purpose-filled activities to encourage residents to retain life skills longer and experience successes. Park View memory care programming is designed to emphasize abilities and celebrate moments of connection.

Residents enjoy comfortable surroundings and gracious hospitality at Park View assisted living memory care. A full range of assisted living services are also available.

The monthly apartment rental fee includes the following:

  • Private studio or one-bedroom apartments
  • Private bath with grab bars and walk-in shower
  • A structured daily plan offering meaningful, stimulating activities designed to meet each resident’s abilities
  • Secure environment with multiple community spaces designed with the resident in mind
  • Daily snacks and beverages available
  • All utilities except private landline phone service
  • Expanded basic cable TV and wireless internet
  • Transportation for scheduled activities
  • Staff chaplain available for visits and Bible studies
  • Worship services are on site
  • Assistance with transportation scheduling as needed
Base Health Care Service Level
$1,530 per month fee
  • Initial health care assessment with individualized care plan
  • Personal care staff on duty 24 hours per day
  • Assistance with activities of daily living (ADL: dressing, grooming, transferring, toileting)
  • Shower assistance up to twice weekly
  • Medication administration up to twice daily (Basic: up to 10 medications)
  • Transfer assistance with one person
  • Escorts within memory care neighborhood
  • Reorientation and reassurance checks
  • Monthly vital sign management, reviewed by nursing staff
  • Weekly housekeeping services with daily trash removal
  • Three loads of laundry weekly (two personal and one linen)
  • Weekly linen change
  • Daily bed making
  • Additional services available

As part of the continuum of care at Park View, rehabilitation therapies, skilled nursing memory care and long-term care are available at the Health Center next door.

Skilled Nursing Memory Care

This separate, entrance-controlled area within the Park View Health Care Center offers compassionate care for people at all stages of Alzheimer’s disease and other memory loss conditions who also require 24-hour skilled nursing care.

  • Delicious and nutritious meals, three times daily, special diets available
  • Central living and dining areas
  • Comfortable lounges
  • Spa room with whirlpool tub
  • Skilled nursing services
  • 24-hour personal care tailored for each individual’s needs
  • Specially-trained staff help participation in daily life
  • Activities each day and evening
  • Wellness programs
  • Additional skilled nursing is available as needs increase
